A new Pooja Lama, Pooja Chand, has stuffed a letter in-between to differentiate

Everybody knows the Pooja Lama, a model, actress and a singer. The name also comes with various scandals and bitter break-ups she went through. That is the reason nobody in Nepali film industry wants to be like her, let alone having the same name. - 

Actress Pooja Chand didn’t have a choice. She doesn’t want to go back to her lack-luster original name – Radhika Pariyar. That was why she used the last-name Chand years after she divorced Suraj Chand. Now, when their daughter is in late-teens she finally decided to change it and it wasn’t easy. In 2010, she had decided to get married to Raju Lama and got engaged. They were planning the marriage in months but, Pooja got scared of the name she would get after the marriage – Pooja Lama.

If Pooja had her ways, she would have continued using Pooja Chand for ever. But, Suraj wasn’t happy about her using the surname even after divorce. If she were to use the same surname after marrying Lama, he might even sue her. So, Chand wasn’t an option. She was in deep love with Raju Lama so, leaving the sweetheart just for the name and some another silly actress by that name also didn’t sound right. Pooja was so confused – she thought for …. almost 3-years. Yes, after almost 3-long-years, Pooja got an idea – a big idea – she could adopt the full name Raju Lama in hers.

The resulting name is – Pooja Raju Lama or Pooja R. Lama in short.

Malina Joshi felt like a teenager on the Valentine Day -

The actress of the upcoming movie ‘Ritu’ and Miss Nepal 2011, Malina Joshi, has found a handsome boyfriend, Anoop Bikram Shahi. The Man Hunt International Nepal 2013, Anoop is a model and an actor. The relationship between the two is told to have been running for the last 6 months. - See more at: 
Malina and Anoop revealed about the relationship on the Valentine Day. Malina shared a photo of the gift she received with a quote, "Long day. Now its like a valentine’s day. Feeling like a teenager !" 

On the day, Anoop shared photos of the two together. In these days, they are usually are seen together, holding hands and cuddling whenever they get an opportunity. 

Both Malina and Anoop are starting their acting career. Anoop is debuting as an actor in ‘Hasiya’ and Malina is debuting in ‘Ritu’. Although Malina had done a dance in another movie ‘Kollywood’, ‘Ritu’ is considered her debut movie as an actress.

Rekha’s Himmatwali goes on floor on Shivaratri

Actress Rekha Thapa‘s new movie ‘Himmatwali’ goes to floor on Shivaratri on February 27, 2014. The movie featuring herself in leading role will introduce a new actor in leading role. -

There is a rumor that FDB chief Pappu is going to invest in the movie. The relationship between Pappu and Rekha wasn’t good at the start when Pappu snatched the FDB chief post that Rekha was lobbying for. The relationship improved on the last Shivaratri and they also shared marijuana publicly. In another report, Rekha was told to be working out to trim her belly for the movie. Another actress, Sanchita Luitel is also told to be working out with Rekha to trim their bodies.

Rekha had been teasing about the new actor to be featured in the new movie. In a report in xnepali, the new actor is a Mt. Everest climber without any hands, Sudarshan Gautam.

‘Himmatwali’ is being directed by ‘Lanka’ director Shyam Bhattarai. Most of the shooting of the movie is to be done in Western Nepal. -

Is Reema Bishowkarma having an affair with Amir Sheakh?

It is rumored that actress and model Reema Bishowkarma is seeing singer Amir Sheakh. The rumor is backed up by their togetherness in different occasion and Reema being the host of the most of Amir’s concerts. According to report, they are also occasionally seen together in Durbar Marg sipping coffee. -

Samana Sitaula pregnant, expecting a baby boy

Character actress of various television serials and movies, Samana Sitoula is pregnant and is expecting her first child in a couple of months. Samana is going to give birth to the child in around her first marriage anniversary. - 

Samana is married to Ganesh Chudal, a person not related to entertainment industry (marriage file photo is attached below). Ultrasound investigation of the unborn baby has revealed that the baby is male. -

Richa Ghimire responds but, says nothing about Green Card -

In response to conflicting reports about how actress Richa Ghimire reached USA and reports about her staying there permanently, she had responded by a long statement in her Facebook status. With the status, she also shared the photos of her farewell party at her home in Kathamndu. From the photos, we can say that Richa had invited Arunima Lamsal, Sanchita Luitel and Melina Manandhar in the party. 

A rough observation of the photos Richa has shared, it is clear that the photos were taken in different occasions. Note, the dress Richa and others are wearing in different the photos.

Richa says, she screened ‘Tulsi’ in Calgary and Toronto cities of Canada. After that, she went to Baltimore city in the USA and did one screening there. In the summer she is planning to show the movie in California, North Carolina, Virginia and Atlanta. She would probably take it to the Europe on her way back to Nepal. It’s to be noted, she didn’t talk about the return dates. The Europe and Nepal plan seems more like an alternative if her attempt to get the Green Card didn’t work.

She also added, she didn’t secretly ran away from Nepal. Before leaving Nepal, she had told about the journey to everybody and she even had a farewell gatherings. Richa admitted this journey to be longer than others. Although she has written a long statement, Richa hasn’t denied the report of her family’s intention to get a green card in the USA. Jheli to take advantage of the popularity of Jholay And Jhola

Three movies with similar names – ‘Jhola’, ‘Jholey’ and ‘Jheli’ were were ready for release at the same time.

Don’t you think the names are designed to confuse the viewers? We think so too !

‘Jhola’ was released on February 7, another movie – ‘Jholey’ is scheduled to release on February 21and the release date of the third movie ‘Jheli’ will be announced right after the release of ‘Jholey’.

The makers of ‘Jholey’ tried to take advantage of the popularity of ‘Jhola’ by releasing a press statement telling viewers not to confuse ‘Jhola’ for ‘Jholey’. The truth – nobody was really confused until they told so!‘Jhola’ is a great movie in itself

 and it didn’t need some copycat (taking ‘Jhola’ director’s word that the movie was conceived 7 years ago) to promote it.

But, if the media reports are to be believed, ‘Jholey’ is a decent movie and is expected to do well in theater. We hope, the comedy is a genuine comedy (at least, not like the press statement).

Now, ‘Jheli’ team has also told the media that it doesn’t want viewers to get confused! The message is loud and clear – they want the viewers to get confused and watch it.

Binita Baral denied rumor of her marriage but confirms the affair with ‘Superhit’ director

There was a rumor of the marriage of Binita Baral during the Valentine Day. The rumor sounds more like a fake rumor and we didn’t talk about it but, Binita decided to make it clear. As we suspected, she denied the marriage rumor. But, she also accepted the rumor of the affair with the ‘Superhit’ director, Niranjan Pandey. 

This wasn’t the first time rumor of marriage of Binita and Niranjan surfaced. Exactly a year back in 2013 we wrote about the rumor. She didn’t deny or accept the rumor that time.

Now, she says that, “The relationship started because of media rumors about our relationship. Although we are in relationship, we haven’t married yet.” She also added, they don’t have any plans to get married anytime soon.-

Binita debuted in a hit movie ‘Chapali Height’. Her next movie wasn’t successful and the third movie ‘Superhit’ is yet to be release. After the third movie, she started organic farming and has been quite busy in the business. In the mean time, she had acted advertisements, music videos and a stage play.

About her love story, Binita had told that she broke up with her previous boyfriend after the success of her debut movie.
